4 of 5 Smoked by Smoky Train March 15, 2022

Wow - toughest puzzle we've done. For about 3/4 of it, shape offered more help than color. After about 8 weeks on our table unfinished, the finished work is beautiful, to be sure!

5 of 5 Gorgeous Fall Foliage January 19, 2022
Reviewer: Alana from British Columbia, Canada
This past fall, I "self-curated" an autumn trilogy for myself from the many selections by artist Mark Keathley offered by Cobble Hill Puzzles. I included: A New Day, Mountain Cascade, and Smoky Train and followed the journey of Mama Bear and her babies down the mountainside. With their soft colours and detailed landscapes, all three puzzles were considerably challenging, but I enjoy when a puzzle takes things to the next level and challenges me to puzzle by "shape" alone. This puzzle was stunningly beautiful when completed.

1 of 5 Smoky Train: very challenging November 1, 2021
Reviewer: Sylvie and George from Victoria BC
Not enough 'clues' to distinguish the pieces; same trees-same colours. We worked on the train, light part of the sky and water; then all pieces seemed to look the same. Not possible to attempt this in the evenings. We have asked our puzzle friends if they want this puzzle, and everyone said no, too many trees of the same colour.

5 of 5 Our Favourite June 26, 2021

Our favourite puzzle so far.  Beautiful pictures, gorgeous colours, and the train goes together quickly.  Took less than a week for the whole thing.

2 of 5 Not well made August 28, 2020
Reviewer: Melinda from Seattle
This puzzle made for a very frustrating experience. We bought this for a group trip to the beach, and even the inveterate puzzlers lost interest. We’ve had puzzles that were challenging. This is just annoying and poorly made. There shouldn’t be five pieces all exactly the same color that all fit perfectly in the same spot. That’s not a quality puzzle. It is a pretty picture, but it was very disappointing.

5 of 5 Worth the Effort April 23, 2020

Soft colors make this a very challenging project. Took about 21/2 weeks from start to finish. The finished product is a train in a lovely mountain setting. Beautiful!

4 of 5 A CHALLENGE March 10, 2020
Reviewer: BILL P from ST. DAVIDS, ONTARIO
THE RANDOM CUT IS A REAL TREAT TO FIGURE OUT. THE GRAPHICS ARE NOT THAT SHARP SO IT'S EVEN MORE CHALLENGING. END RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL.
BUY IF YOU WANT A CHALLENGE.
