Who Won in September?
The first Rainbow Birdies Fun Run is in the books, and it was so enjoyable reading your comments and seeing the different styles of photos submitted. We were surprised at how many of you had fake eggs! Thank you very much to everyone who joined us, we were happy to hear that you had an egg-cellent time with the puzzle.
And the September Winners Are...
To kick off our monthly contest, we decided to make September egg-stra fun and draw three winners from all the submissions:
🎉 Karen Ni
🎉 Stephanie Metcalf
🎉 Sasha Laczkowski
Congratulations! Each winner will receive a $30 Cobble Hill e-gift card.
And shout-out to Stephanie who got their submission in on the last day, just hours before the closing deadline! Love it!
What Counts as a Secret Symbol?
September's Secret Symbol was an egg, and we kept it nice and simple. A real egg, a fake egg or even the word "egg" written on a piece of paper were all counted! Every month will be similar, so even if you don't have the secret symbol "object", we'll accept the written words or even a drawn picture.
That's the spirit of the Fun Run: keep it simple, have some fun and share your finished puzzle.

There's More to Come!
If you didn't win this time, your September entry isn't out of the running! We'll do a larger final draw in April from all Fun Run submissions received from September through the end of March. We will still do random draw winners, but we'll probably also choose winners from comments or questions we may ask, creative photos, times submitted, egg-cetera... (haha, sorry, that's my last pun, but probably my favourite).
So there's plenty of time to join in, discover each month's Secret Symbol and add your photo to the mix. We can't wait to see your future entries!
And Lastly, Some Speed Run Milestones, Too!
There were several puzzlers who submitted unofficial times in the Fun Run and it was great to read about the progress people are making with Rainbow Birdies. One puzzler shared that they got their personal best time for a speed run, while another managed to cut an impressive 40 minutes off their previous time! That's some serious puzzling progress, congrats!
We appreciate that the USAJPA has provided us an opportunity to present the 4th Official Speed Run puzzle to you and if you want to submit your official Rainbow Birdies Speed Run time(s), head on over to their website:
