With Rainbow Birdies, you can do both!
The Official Speed Run
Rainbow Birdies is the fourth official Speed Run puzzle from the USA Jigsaw Puzzle Association (USAJPA). The goal of the official Speed Run is simple: complete the 500 piece puzzle as quickly as you can.
You can compete as an Individual or as a team of 2, 3 or 4, and you can submit multiple attempts as you work toward a faster time. Official submissions are recorded as a time-lapse video, with winners recognized at the 2027 USA Jigsaw Nationals.
But what if racing the clock isn't your thing? Or maybe you're participating in the Official Speed Run and want another chance to win?
That's where the Cobble Hill Fun Run comes in!
Join the Rainbow Birdies Fun Run
Our Fun Run is for Speed Runners or anyone enjoying Rainbow Birdies at their own pace. There are no stopwatches, no personal bests and no pressure to finish quickly.
Each month, we'll give you a new Secret Symbol to include in your photo. Complete your Rainbow Birdies 500 piece puzzle, add that month's symbol, snap a photo and submit it through our online form.
One entry will be randomly selected each month to win a $30 Cobble Hill e-gift card.
It's our way of celebrating everyone who enjoys Rainbow Birdies whether you're training for the official Speed Run or simply enjoying a relaxing puzzle at home.
Look Closely... There Are Some Easter Eggs!
Part of the fun of Rainbow Birdies is discovering the little details hidden throughout the neighbourhood.
The puzzle was designed as a cheerful, quilt-inspired birdhouse community, with each colourful home telling its own story. Look closely and you'll find several nods to puzzling and the USA Jigsaw Nationals.
Can you spot these Easter eggs?

Flame birdies: Look for the birdies with flame-inspired crests. They're a nod to the USA Jigsaw Nationals logo.

Rainbow Cats: Keep an eye out for a Rainbow Cats poster, a reference to Cobble Hill's second USAJPA Speed Run puzzle.

Nationals wallpaper: The USA Jigsaw Nationals logo makes another appearance in the wallpaper.

The cuckoo clock: Look closely at the clock and you'll see that it's set to 4 o'clock, a little nod to the fourth annual Speed Run.

The laundry line: There’s a t-shirt with a puzzle piece hanging on the line.
